Usually not. Windows Defender and macOS protections are solid when set up right. I'll tell you if your situation calls for more.
The pop-up said to call Microsoft. Was that real?
No. Microsoft and Apple never put phone numbers in pop-up warnings. Close the browser and don't call.
Can you check my phone too?
Yes. iPhone and Android, including suspicious apps, profiles, and account access.
How much does it cost?
There's a $50 minimum for a house call. Booked work is quoted before I start, and the $50 isn't added on top.
